Good points:
unless you need to run virtual xp etc i would not bother with this upgrade
Bad points:
very frustrating, kept telling my that upgrade has failed and that my operating system is not compatible. My lap top is brand new with the new intel i5 processer and high speck. Windows home premium was the pre installed operating system but i needed ultimate to run virtual xp,never tried this yet but the thing is is that pc now is running with ultimate although it kept on telling that it failed. it still has me baffled?

Good points:
wouldn'tknow - can't make it work! download and explanations non existent this one is for SERIOUS techies only.Amateurs 'step away from the software'
Bad points:
Couldn't work out why it wouldn't load. Kept giving error messages about how the key number was not compatible. Then on restarting it started loading itself up! Then Microsoft Virtual PC which should appear on the program list didn't. Downloaded XP Mode program from Microsoft which disappeared. Still struggling with it. Very poor installation procedure. Very annoyed verging on angry about it.
