George, St Albans

Score 2.0/10
Good points:
A few good points, but whatever small features that were gained in functionality were greatly overwhelmed by the bad points as described below.
Bad points:
You have to be prepared for the fact that many, if not all of your other programs, including the microsoft ones, will not be compatible with windows 7, and indeed some will not work at all. It is the same story with equipment, for example, I lost the functionality of my HP printer, and HP will not be issuing patches for the machine, even though it is less than a year old and still in warranty. Other program houses / equipment vendors also are availing of the launch to sell new versions or new equipment. I should have not botheredor at least checked about comapatability of everything before choosing to upgrade.
