Good points:
Got this on a half price special offer so very happy with what i got for the money. Device works as described and the remote control is more convenient than turning off at the wall, especially when the wall socket is pretty much completey blocked by my 50" plasma!

There are other devices which shut everything off automatically when you turn off the tv but in my experience these devices can get confused by plasma tv's due to the fluctuating power draw between bright & dark screens, leading to everything shutting down when watching a dark scene on the tv! This is why i opted for a remote controlled power saving unit.
Bad points:
You can't turn off individual sockets - it's all off or all on only. The numbers on the remote unit relate to the fact that multiple units can be controlled with the same remote control. But not really a big deal.

Unit looks/feels a little cheap compared to the Belkin equivalent.

Good points:
It does what it says. When I switch off my PC, all the peripherals switch off too. No hassle at all. When I boot up my PC all the peripherals switch on, quickly. The modem and router are plugged into the always on sockets and stay on. If you want a simple way to save on electicity, use this plug.
Bad points:
Absolutely none.
