Dave, Blackburn Amateur photographer and naturalist

Score 10.0/10
Good points:
Looks and feels like a quality piece of kit and does what it says on the packet. It has an ingenious sprung screw thread for different sized heads/attachments.
I imagine I will use the 'pod mostly with the legs splayed out for stability (camera and telescope).
This is a great product for the price and I'm well pleased with it.
Bad points:
Not really a problem as such, but without actually seeing it happen it is difficult to describe how the 3 legs are deployed. Simply put, the bottom of the monopod unscrews and is taken off. The 3 legs open out and the centre of the legs screws back in. It is a bit fiddly, especially when the legs are splayed out, but you can't have everything!
One further note. I got a blood blister when I trapped my finger between the leg and centrepiece (It didn't really hurt, just pinched the skin).

need to be unscrewed/taken off before opening and rescrewed onto the
