Score 10.0/10
Good points:
Upgraded from Tiger (Mac OS X 10.4) to Snow Leopard (10.6) using this set, and was pleasantly surprised by how much quicker everything is--it's like having a new laptop. Particularly quick are shutdown, wake-from-sleep, Spotlight searching and Finder operations generally. I also re-gained about 8 GB of disk space due to the 'slimming down' of much of the OS. YMMV, of course ;) iWork 09 seems like a fairly minor update from the already-excellent iWork 08. As for the new iLife 09, I've only used iPhoto; it's quicker, has some great new features and photo organisation is much improved.
Bad points:
Check whether your printer is supported under Snow Leopard. My old HP PSC 750 can still print (sort of; it ignores paper orientation settings) but is no longer recognised as a scanner.
