Peter, Liverpool

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
It can be used as a second oven if you only have one. As I have a large range cooker it is ideal instead of using the big oven if only cooking for one or making jacket potatoes. I use this more now than my conventional oven!!!
Bad points:
Grill is quite slow and I have mastered the use of the combi bit yet. Most of the recipes or examples of how to use the combi are not what I would cook but someone else might. Remember if you have used the oven or grill and then need to use the microwave that it will be hot and you have to let it cool before you place any plastic microwave dish in.
It is quite bulky so you need plenty of workspace.

Score 8.0/10
Good points:
Smart design, quiet in operation, easy to clean.
Bad points:
Designers assume that all their preset programs will be used (I assume) whereas many of them are for foods that I never consume, ie prog useless to us. I would like to have email address of manufacturers to submit my ideas to them but they appear to be behind a barrier so how can they get genuine feedback.
I would like to pass on an idea to all users of microwave ovens that works well and avoids the need to stir during the cooking period ie the use of a 'RING DISH'. The problem needing the stirring is that there is a null area in the middle of the turntable where there is no heating (to avoid burning the food in the centre of the turntable) so why not arrange to avoid putting food there, EASY, make a Ring Dish if you cannot buy one by inverting a 12cm dia glass or ceramic cereal bowl in the middle of a large pyrex dish. This creates a 'ring' into which the veg or fruit can be put, seasoned and cooked without the need to stir. My favourite is a mixture of carrots and parsnips, peeled and chopped, rinsed with water, put in the ring, seasoned & covered with a pyrex plate and cooked on microwave without the addition of more water. Flavour is excellent.
I would also like to be able to program the ;Favourite' settings with more than 1 cooking mode ie combo of Convection + Microwave.
Can you pass this on or let me have LG's email address?
