The LG HT503TH is a 5.1-channel DVD home cinema system with 500W of power output combined with Dolby digital, DTS decoder, Dolby Pro Logic II technology, 10.1-Virtual Sound Matrix (V.S.M) technology for 10.1 virtual surround sound that helps the system delivers deep, powerful bass for its speakers and surround channels, HDMI connection with 1080p up-scaling, USB ripping capability that enables copying of music files to a USB, MP3 player compatible and also direct DivX movie playback.
The LG HT503TH is a 5.1-channel with surround sound, DVD home cinema system designed with total RMS power output of 500 watts and fitted with 10.1-Virtual Sound Matrix (V.S.M) technology. The technology can create a virtual sound effect to enhance your listening pleasure without any distortion or exaggeration on the original sound. Instead of the 5.1-channel surround that the system is equipped with, it will create a 10.1-channel virtual sound effect. Its speaker system consists of two right/left rear channel speakers (2-way, 70 Watt, at 1 kHz, 4 Ohm), one centre channel external speaker (2-way, 70 Watt, at 1 kHz, 4 Ohm, THD 10%) and one external subwoofer (150 Watt, at 30 Hz, 8 Ohm, THD 10%). It is equipped with DVD player and the DVD player can play disk types such as CD-R, CD-RW, SVCD, DVD-R, DVD+RW, DVD-RW, DVD+R, DVD, CD or Video CD. It also supports DivX ver.5 (including Xvid), MP3, WMA, progressive scanning and JPEG photo playback. Besides that, the LG HT503TH is fitted with a built-in digital FM/AM radio tuner with 50 preset stations, tuner Frequency range of FM 87.5 to 108 MHz and AM 520 to 1720 kHz, tuning Fluorescent display and supports RDS Functions (CT, PTY, PS or RT). It also has universal infrared remote control, USB 2.0 capability for playback music, photos and movies from a storage device, sleep timer plus HD AV sync that eliminate lip sync problems which may appear with some TV transmissions and Simplink function that enables user to control a LG TV and this home cinema system by just using one remote control.
