Andy, Essex Multi-screen user

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
Easy to setup and full software support included. I literally plugged it into my computer, using HDMI or DVI connector, and it was installed and working in minutes. Nice height adjustment and the ability to turn the screen vertical when need for long document reading is handy. Would recommend to others looking for a good all round 24" screen.

Confirmed purchaser hard to impressed

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
Big, good price, brilliant picture (as far as TN panels go). No dead pixels. The stand is particularly good allowing you to change height, tilt and rotate to portrait easily. The contrast enhancement is actually worth having switch on (with other monitors there is too much of a correction delay when the scene changes, which is very distracting). Colours look accurate. Viewing angle is reasonable for this type of lcd panel. Smart looking. Very little backlight bleeding. Black levels are the best i've seen in a TN LCD (but typically for an LCD they are still quiet poor). Overall the best TN panel you can buy.
Bad points:
The menu system is poor. Buttons change function depending on the setup screen your on in a very unintuitive way. Once set up though i never use the menu system anyway. If your a fan of having one button press to change the screen brightness, perhaps to an eco mode, you may want to avoid this monitor. As far as i have found you have to go through the horrid menu system to do this which takes to long to bother. Finally, the ON LED light is 10 times too bright. I had to stick tape over it.

Good points:
Great monitor.

Ignore those complaining about the `on` light being too bright- they obviously are not too bright as there is an option to turn it off- RTFM!
Bad points:
`on` light too difficult to work for the brain-dead.

Vajra, Brighton art worker

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
It is very easy and smooth to raise lower and pivot for landscape and portrait. The screen is a good mat surface so no light bounce. Easy set up on a mac - plug and play pretty much.
Bad points:
It has an annoying blue on off switch which you need to tape over if you are watching a film. It seems not to resize the screen automatically (on a mac at least) when I revert to using my smaller laptop screen. So for instance my web browser screen is far to long and needs to be manually shrunk, there may be a setting for asking it to do that but I have not found it. Not a complaint but worth knowing the blacks are not absolutely black but good enough for me and I work mainly with art images. I guess this is what you get for the mid range price.
