Stephen, Swarthmoor Multi-purpose viewer

Score 5.0/10
Good points:
The sound quality is very good as I keep the volume at level 7. The on set instructions are good to follow but you do need to have time and to stay calm.
Having the free-sat tuner built- in saves a lot of space, but I have yet to get that installed. The free -view and start-up is also very straight forward and the web browser is fine.
Bad points:
The picture quality is poor, when watching a broadcast and it looks bitty
and it is noticeable. When using the web browser you need to use the magic remote and the on screen keyboard, though it does state on the settings there are keyboards with reference numbers that are compatible. Should you be thinking of buying this TV ( in store) ask for it to be connected to an aerial and watch a broadcast along with a film from a DVD player and you can make your own decision. Please don't rely on the screen picture demonstration as it makes it look perfect.

Good points:
I love this TV so much. Really easy to set up and use all the online and smart features, even for a non-technical person.
Bad points:
Didn't realise it doesn't have scart - which is an issue for my old DVD player.

Manufacturer's Description

Hidden beauty comes alive. Combining the latest innovation in colour packages and light filtering technology ColourPrime Pro delivers a wider range of colour spectrum. What you are watching is more vibrant and vivid with colours and shades that you never knew existed.

ULTRA Luminance sends excess current from dark areas to brighter areas to enhance contrast. Combine the LG UHD TV’s excellent ability to express darkness with its distinct contrast between dark and light, and you have an image that is as sharp and clear as real life.

When something is shown in HDR there is a dynamic range on display that is closer to the huge range of colours and shades that your eye can process. Sun glistens off water, stars shine brighter in the sky – your entertainment comes to life. Content producers are already producing HDR entertainment and LG UHD TV is ready for this content. Open your eyes to the future standard of picture quality.
