Score 8.0/10
Good points:
Good TV, clear picture, easy to operate.
Bad points:
You really notice the "Soap Opera Effect" on this tv with older programmes and movies. However this is solved very well by changing the visual mode to "Game". I find it strange that this isn't more clearly accomodated in modern HD tvs but there is usually a workaround. Do a quick search on HD TV Soap Opera effect if you need to know more about this.

Jim, Warrington, Cheshire Multi-purpose viewer

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
Good picture, easy to set up and use. Excellent and clear user interface eg when using programme guide, or when changing input signal from Sky Box to DVD to TV tuner etc.
If you tend to use the TV mostly on one source as I do, in my case an HD Sky Box, it is very convenient because it defaults to the previously used setting when you switch it on. My old set always defaulted to TV tuner, so every time I switched it on I had to manually change the source to the Sky Box.
Bad points:
Minor irritations are
(1) there is no power switch on the TV itself - unless you switch it off at the power socket it remains on stand-by
(2) the screen surround is very shiny and reflective, and reflects light from the room (windows, lights, etc) which is a little distracting at times.
(3) no connections for component video from my media player (but it has a USB input)
(4) only 1 SCART socket, so if you have any old equipment using SCART, such as a VHS recorder, DVD player, etc, you'd have to change the SCART plug each time you want to use a different SCART source. But it does have 4 HDMI connections, to modern equipment is fine.
