Kai,

Score 10.0/10
Good points:
Excellent image quality and significantly beyond the Benq 27 inch 2K IPS monitor.

Simply, I made a correct decision to return the Benq one for its weird color temperature and reorder a LG one.
Bad points:
The panel display control buttons are not 'aligned' well and thus the user would suffer a lot to make some changes.

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
Clarity is great and I got a nice surprise finding that the stand allows quicky changing to portrait orientation. Also, the DAC for audio output seems a tad better than integrated audio, so I've hooked it up to my hifi.
Bad points:
It's quite blindingly bright. I have to turn brightness down to 0 for normal use. I'm also a little disappointed to find it's not true 10-bit but rather 8-bit + AFRC. Still, the colours with standard content are better than my TV and there's not much 10-bit content around anyway.

Robin, Leicestershire I'm particular and selective.

Score 10.0/10
Good points:
I like the fact that the monitor is adjustable in height and connections can be easily reached by tilting the screen away from you and turning it vertically. I use it mainly for viewing and editing photos and the picture is excellent with good colouration and sharpness. The stand base is flat so things placed on it stay put and the base support is extremely sturdy. An all round great monitor.
Bad points:
The only thing I have reservations about are the buttons which are a bit fiddly and a bit too touch sensitive, but as I don't touch them very often it's no big deal.

Manufacturer's Description

When IPS meets 4K, the result is even more amazing. The 27MU67’s Ultra HD IPS Display offers much better colour reproduction compared to TN panels, providing incredible viewing angles and great colour consistency over the entire screen. With a 4K IPS monitor, gamers can enjoy seamless viewing for an ultimate immersive gaming experience.
Furthermore, the 27MU67 in 3840×2160 Ultra HD resolution provides increased clarity, sharper texture, more details, more “real estate”, and smoother images.

The 27MU67 provides sRGB with over 99% maximized colour, based on an IPS panel that offers the most accurate colour reproduction by far, the widest viewing angles, and the best-ever visual experience to the users.

The 27MU67 supports AMD’s FreeSync technology, which eliminates image tearing and stuttering that occur from the difference between a graphic card’s frame rate and monitor’s refresh rate in high-intensity graphic games. Those who use the 27MU67, equipped with FreeSync technology of the latest AMD hardware, can amplify the immersive gaming experience with clear, live visual images without any tearing or stuttering.

Input lag often determines the winner, especially in graphic-heavy games. So then, is it really true that TN’s input lag speed is better than IPS? The answer is no. UL-approved 9.7ms or lower input lag on the 27MU67 (with DAS mode on) is classified in the top class of three lag classifications according to TFT Central. This means you can enjoy both UHD 4K resolution and fast speed with IPS’s awesome picture quality!

The Game Mode Hot Keys in Picture Mode (FPS Game1, FPS Game2 and RTS Game, Custom/Game) provide a customized gaming experience in varying genres. It’s convenient to adjust and optimize the settings for each game when switching between different genres. The hot key toggles at the bottom of the monitor are designed to allow gamers to easily customize their gaming environment, ultimately increasing the possibility of winning.

The Black Stabilizer allows gamers to have better visibility, even in deep-dark scenes or too-light scenes. It lets you have better strategy by enabling you to see if there is an enemy or object waiting to interrupt you in the darkest area. Plus, there is no more worry when facing a bright area, such as a flash bang attack; the Black Stabilizer effect minimizes visually-compromised areas on the screen during the flash bang.

4K @60Hz thru HDMI interface provides users can fully enjoy the next generation game without any display lag.
Furthermore, user can watch protected High-Definition contents(eg.Blueray player contents) through HDCP 2.2.

27MU67 provides both Mini Display and Display ports supporting the compatible connectivity with Thunderbolt2™. Users can enjoy the 4K resolution game with Mini DP to DP cable.

LG’s Flicker Safe functions always on to reduce the flicker level to almost-zero to protect your eyes from exhausting flickers and blue lights. With the 27MU67’s Flicker Safe function, spend as long as you want enjoying contents without burdening your eyes.

4-Screen Split feature conveniently divides the monitor screen from 2 to 4 sizable and customizable sub screens. Moreover, the 27MU67 offers a shortcut for Font size/Resolution control on the menu of the Screen Split SW.

Dual Controller enables the seamless control of two devices with a single keyboard and a mouse under Dual Linkup mode.
27MU67 provides a more efficient multitasking environment by simple copy-paste between two devices.
