Score 7.0/10
Good points:
Good performance (exc battery), great keyboard, solidly built - average weight.
Bad points:
Battery performance is not as stated; it said max was 5 hrs but I only ever get about 2hrs and all I am doing is surfing the internet.

Score 8.0/10
Good points:
performance (Core i5, 4GB RAM, discreet graphics and a 7200 RPM hard drive.). No issues running Photoshop or other intensive programs.

Windows 7 professional 64 bit edition included in the price.

Build quality - solid

Connectivity options - more than you can shake a stick at. Mine came with a 3G modem and Vodafone SIM included, bluetooth, and every WIFI related option I could ever need. it even has a GPS locator, which, combined with google maps is quite a cool function.

Weight- far easier to lug around than the Dell Precision I used to have.

Bad points:
Battery life is a tad disappointing. I would have gladly paid more for the 9-cell version. I seem to average about 3 hours.

Screen resolution is fine - took a while to adjust having used a higher resolution in the past.

Thinktools- some are a little pointless.

Windows 7 recovery disc- Thinkpads do not come with physical media. Consequently, there is a one time option to burn the recovery and boot discs. not the best process IMHO.
