Score 9.0/10
Good points:
Light and portablei with good battery life. Sleek design. Starts very quickly and initial set-up was straightforward. The touchscreen has transformed my computing experience, yet I am pleased to have the keyboard for typing.
Bad points:
The fan is rather noisy. The screen proportions are the standard ones for this size of laptop, but are not ideal for the tablet mode - the screen (in portrait orientation) is longer but narrower than A4, so it's not as well-suited to reading pdf documents as I'd hoped.

Good points:
versatile machine - laptop and tablet all in one
Good solid build
Bad points:
moving from Windows 7 to 8 is a pretty unsettling and nerve-racking transition - but it does appear that (with perseverance) there is light at the end of the tunnel . . .

Bad points:
The wireless network adapter is poor and not compatible with all wireless networks. It takes a lot of work to fix the problem, changing settings, downloading drivers etc. A search of the web shows that this is a very common fault with this machine. I would not purchase another Lenovo
