Good points:
HDMI is handy and the USB 3 is a bit faster and I do use a USB 3 external hard drive for photos. The laptop meets my needs as support to my Photography hobby. It was very easy to setup and once I had logged into google via a new added Chrome browser all my bookmarks and other stuff automatically crossed over.
Bad points:
Could do with more RAM but that can be added. A bit slow when using a heavy memory hungry program like Photoshop. The casing looks and feels a bit on the cheap side with the edges that are not very well rounded off and catchy.

Good points:
This is my very first laptop that I bought, so in used to having desktops/PCs.

But I was very surprised at how good this laptop is for the price.

-It runs smoothly
-Lots of space on it to store photos and videos
-Functional for both office work and home computing
-It looks great
-In terms of noise and heat, they are both minimal
-I love that I got the choice to choose whether I wanted Windows 7 or Windows 8.
Bad points:
I haven't had the laptop long enough to point out anything bad. Everything so far has been great and I'm super impressed.

Score 8.0/10
Good points:
It's fast and has Windows 7....or 8 if you prefer. High enough spec for me.
Bad points:
The construction of the laptop casing is very plasticky which makes it feel cheap. This is why I only give 5 for design.
