Good points:
An ideal alternative to an expensive handheld console, as with younger children they can get damaged. It can be knocked about a little bit. My 3 year old son often picks it up without being prompted, and calls it his 'DS.'
Bad points:
It said on the packaging that you can get a free app online, but when I tried this, it wouldn't work. Also the games aren't cheap, so bear in mind when you buy the console.

My 4 year old loves it and it keeps him occupied for hours. He uses it in car, whilst visiting grand parent's. He can use it all by himself didn't even have to show him how to work it.
