Most helpful reviews

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
Precise hand tracker for reasonable price.
No need for VR gloves (yet?). VR mode support from developers is good thing, and VR mount is quality made - can be printed very easily with high chance for 3d print to be successful.
Bad points:
I personally want higher range, maybe like option with additional power supply.
Couple of 720p at least color cameras for VR mode can be good too! (With IPD around 6, not 4).

Yomesh, New Delhi, India Truth. Always,

Score 7.0/10
Good points:
Neatly designed.
Beautiful.
Fast.
Good to flaunt.
Very affordable.
Built quality is very nice.
Bad points:
Sort of useless.
No major usage as such.
Tough to get hold of at times.
There should be a built-in app for all the keyboard and mouse related gestures as people buy this and later they realize they need to install apps and stuff to use it and each app conflicts with other apps. There should be uniformity which it lacks!

Manufacturer's Description

The remarkably accurate, incredibly natural way to interact with your computer. The Leap Motion Controller is a tiny USB device that will change the way you use your computer – because you do everything without touching anything. It senses how you move your hands the way you move them naturally. It makes the space between you and your computer interactive and three-dimensional. So instead of clicks, taps, and drag-and-drops, you can point, reach, and grab – even pick something up and put it down. Just like in real life.It works with your Mac and PC and it’s easy to set up. Just plug it into the USB port, download the free software, and you’re off to a new dimension. The Leap Motion

Controller is only 3 inches long, but it’s remarkably powerful. It tracks all 10 fingers up to 1/100th of a millimeter with zero visible latency. Your hands are free to move in 8 cubic feet of interactive, 3D space. With the wave of a hand or lift of a finger, you can browse the web, read articles, listen to music, and more. But the best parts are the apps you’ll discover in Airspace, the Leap Motion app store.Airspace is a whole new world of apps – many are designed specifically for Leap Motion technology. You’ll find apps in all kinds of categories: Productivity, Music, Games, Design, Photography, and more. Create a work of art with your fingertip using Corel’s Painter app. Steer a car with both hands in Disney Interactive’s Wreck-It Ralph Sugar Rush Speedway. Point and play Double Fine’s music game Dischord. Play ZeptoLab’s Cut the Rope with a finger in the air. Follow the weather with The Weather Channel app. Airspace also includes plug-ins for 3D design software leader Autodesk as well as many others.
