Good points:
Very easy set-up, looks good and the print quality on the paper sample that came with the printer was really very good. Note that it comes with black and coloured ink cartridges. The price of the cartridges, when you do need new ones, is very good.

Don't bother with the supplied drivers cd, instead connect to Kodak's website to get the latest ones. If you use the supplied cd, the first thing it does after it's installed the drivers is to get the latest update from Kodak, so in effect your installing twice, and it does take a few minutes each time.

I've bought a few of these now and have not had a single complaint.

Good points:
Was cheapish to buy and ink didn't cost so much on initial purchase, as in advertising
Bad points:
Screwed paper up and wouldn't print properly on first installation. Used most of ink trying to sort out. After lengthy chat with helpline was sent new print head. Worked ok for test print but colours could be better. Had to replace ink after that. Only used a couple of times since to print a letter, nothing heavy on ink. Kodak recommend that you leave cartridges and print head in at all times. Went to use printer this morning after about 6 months inactivity. First thing that greeted me was to replace colour ink cartridge. Did that although the previous one was new. Then was told the print head was new and had to be calibrated, which it wasn't, and finally told to replace the black ink, again which was new. Then had feeling of deja vue. Went through numerous head cleanings but test print only printed yellow and cyan, no other colours, no black. Got in touch with helpline again. Was told product was out of warranty, which it wasn't, and that I had to pay twenty five pounds for a new print head. I told them that I hadn't purchased it on the date they had recorded but they didn't believe me. Wouldn't budge. I finally found proof of exact date I purchased printer and from where and went back to them. Still didn't believe me. It was only after they had checked the serial number (not asked for on first chat) against the date of manufacture that they believed that I couldn't possibly have bought it 10 months before it had even been made. Along with trying to fix the printer and both helpline chats I have spent 6 hours trying to sort this out. Have same printer at work and it uses ink very quickly. Much more frequently than you would imagine. In summary printer is about passable when it works though very noisy. Uses ink rapidly. Has cheap parts which often go wrong. Helpline a nightmare. Don't buy it if you like reliable equipment.
