Good points:
Excellent all rounder
Bad points:
Would have been better if it had rechargable batteries. But you get over that problem.

Steve, Hemel Hempstead

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
not the biggest, fastest or fanciest camera on the market, but it is an easy to use camera. I bought it for myself and family to use, my 11 year old daughter found it very easy to use and my wife, who is a technophobe, actually thought that it was easy and fun to use.
Bad points:
very light weight, and not the easiest thing in the world to hold comfortably.

Confirmed purchase: 17 Aug 2007

tony, colchester

Score 8.0/10
Good points:
Ease of use ~ very user friendly selection for conditions. Used in Kenya on beach and on safari and proved to be very robust and able to take knocks as well as deal with heat, dust, sand and rain. Basically I treated it badly and it survived unscathed and without any detrimental effect on its performance. The zoom feature was great and allowed excellent wildlife shots even when at some distance. Close ups of insects were also sharp and clear.
Bad points:
A little bulky and plastic finish (although accept this reduces weight and cost). Lead for connection to computer is short compared to other computer leads I own and restricts positioning of docking station. While zoom photos were excellent, the assimilation of subject was sometimes lost when doing the "double" zoom, which I suspect is common to all highly magnified close ups, but an open line sighting mechanism might prove possible?
