Doesn't fit a piece of bread in it, you have to turn the bread over half way through!

Good points:
Appearance is very good, compact size. I cannot comment on speed of operation as I have yet to operate it successfully.
Bad points:
I cannot operate the appliance which I purchased via the internet. I have tried on several occasions Although power seems to be getting through to the toaster the latch does not operate and the toaster does not heat up and hold the heat. The cancel button flickers but does not remain illuminated. This toaster is not capable for carrying out the operation it was manufactured for and therefore it is not of saleable quality.

It would appear that I have been sold a dud appliance and that is as bad as it gets.

A normal slice of bread is too big to be completely toasted; it sticks out of the top of the toaster

Score 6.0/10
Good points:
The toaster is compact and is inexpensive.
Bad points:
The toaster is too shallow. Unless you use very small slices of bread, the slices have to be rotated half way through toasting so that all of the bread is toasted. If you walk away and leave the toaster unattended after rotating the bread the toast burns; you need to eject the bread manually when it is browned to your liking.

Good points:
None really
Bad points:
The slots are too small to fit bread in without bending and forcing them down, really disappointed with the product and feel as if it has been a total waste of money as we are going to have to buy a new toaster. Would recommend this product in the slightest...

Carol, Coniston Regular user

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
Smart, fits in with other kitchen items.
Bad points:
I used the "frozen" button with seeded bread and it burned; I eventually found that it worked best on no.3-4.
Obviously the texture of the bread matters.
