Score 6.0/10
Good points:
Cleans well
Looks smart
Bad points:
Much smaller internally than my last slimline dishwasher.
Had to buy a new dinner service to fit.
Standard sized dinner plates only fit if the top drawer is at the highest level which then means more limited space on top.
I used to fit 6 cups / glasses in a row on the top drawer - this new machine only takes 4.
The cutlery basket will not sit straight with dinner plates in the drawer

Good points:
The machine looks good
Bad points:
The silver paint on front panel was falling off after 4 weeks. Useless at actually cleaning. (would not even remove a tea ring from a cup! Will not take normal dinner plates as they stop upper arm. Useless at drying anything. VERY VERY CHEAPLY MADE! Cannot move cutlery basket to side. Plate racks refuse to stay upright. Very very annoying beep every min if door is open to empty machine. Eats salt and Rinse Aid BE WARNED:AVOID THIS MACHINE AT ALL COSTS! You only have to look on eBay to see just how many owners get rid of them!!

Good points:
Cleans well, very quiet
Bad points:
It doesn't fit normal dinner plates. This is because the top shelf is too low without the option of moving up. With so many critics about this issue published before I don't understand why the manufactures don't do anything about it

Manufacturer's Description

Boasting streamlined looks and excellent functionality, the Kenwood KDW45S13 Slimline Dishwasher is a triple-A-rated dishwasher that will provide your kitchen with a stylish and efficient way to help take the chore out of washing the dishes.

Choose the clean

Allowing you to clean up to 9 place settings at a time, the DW45S13 is ideal for the busy family household, allowing you to make sure that you always have clean cutlery and crockery ready for the next time dinnertime rolls around.

Designed to make your life as hassle free as possible, the DW45S13 is programmed with seven different cycles and five different temperature choices to ensure that whatever you plan on cleaning, there’s a suitable setting.

Ranging from a Rapid Clean for when you need sparkling plates as soon as possible, to the Intensive Cycle when you have slightly long to tackle those tough stains, the DW45S13 lets you make sure your bowls and dishes will always be beautifully bright and clean.

Space and time

Space isn’t an issue – with adjustable racking you can configure the DW45S13 to accommodate your larger pots and pans, and with a cutlery basket included you can keep those knives and forks grouped together, saving room.

A delay timer of up to 24 hours allows you to set the time when you want a cycle to run – load it up the night before and then return home after a day at work to spotless spoons and forks.

Rated in the highest energy efficiency class, not only is DW45S13 great for keeping your kitchenware clean but it’s good for the environment too – and it won’t rack up large electricity bills either.

Give your cutlery and crockery the care they deserve and make the Kenwood DW45S13 Slimline Dishwasher part of your dish washing routine.
