Good points:
Good sound quality for the size, impressive finish, excellent with BLU RAY movies and SKY HD.
Bad points:
Satellites are VERY fiddly to wall mount, sub isn't the most bassiest I have heard for the money although this does improve if placed close to the wall.

Good points:
Finally bit the bullet and got a decent set of speakers instead of generic ones. Up until now I have always how different speakers could be for the extra money - well now I know!!!
The clarity and the distinction of sounds you get from these speakers is amazing, and the bass pumped out by the sub is more than enough for our large open plan living room. I was considering the B&W MT25s as well as these and found they were much of a muchness, but the dedicated centre speaker just swayed me

Once setup using the amp's tuning microphone the stage is spot on and I love them
Bad points:
Had a slight problem with the sub but it was due to the amp channel being turned right down and sorted that out quickly. No other bad point yet

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
Sound, design, quality of construction.
Bad points:
I have found it difficult to set the subwoofer to be musical instead of impressive. But that is me wanting them to supply the same musical experience as a 20 year old pair of Spendor SP2's.

Manufacturer's Description

The KHT3005SE-W system floods the room with the same dense, intricate and richly textured 3D sound image as the KHT3005SE, but with a valuable additional benefit: the convenience of a wireless version of the award-winning HTB2SE subwoofer, which eliminates the need to embed or trail cables around the room.

In its surprisingly compact cast aluminium enclosure (acoustically inert, like that of the satellites and the stunning centre channel), the HTB2SE-W boasts a 250W Class-D amp powering a 10in. (250mm) LF driver and matching bass radiator to deliver visceral low frequency punch while retaining the delicacy to convey the subtlest effects.

Just as importantly, it also houses uniquely advanced KEF signal transmission and processing technologies to eliminate unwanted mutes, dropouts and loss of bonding as well as interference from other electronics (including cordless and mobile phones). Equally at home horizontally or vertically, it comes with KEF’s SmartBass™ functionality to simplify set-up, so you can be enjoying your system within minutes of opening the box.
