Malcolm, Poole Experienced amateur

Score 8.0/10
Good points:
Image quality actually better than a Professional video camera which I had many years ago.
Small and light weight and just slips into a pocket in my main camera bag.
Fast switch on time, can be left on standby.
Video and stills can be recorded on separate media and downloaded separately, eg: Video to hard disc and stills to memory card.
Bad points:
Supplied battery charge life is too short to be practical. Manufacturer's batteries are available with greater capacity, even twice as much, but they are very expensive. Generic items require a power cable to connect to the camera and so are not ideal. Leaving switched on (standby) runs battery down without it being noticed.
The touch sensor is a slight gimmick which removes the need for moving parts but is not as easy to use as something like a touchpad.
