Getting started is as easy as 1, 2, 3, with Iomega®’s three-step setup procedure. All you need to do is plug the Iomega® Storcenter™ into your router, power up and download the integrated Iomega® Storage Manager and QuikProtect™ back-up software to get started. This web-based management interface is completely user-friendly and is accessible in 16 supported languages.
The Network-attached Storage (NAS) server makes sharing content with family, friends and colleagues simple with the Iomega® Personal Cloud feature – by way of invitation, your guests will be able to access and edit everything you require them to without the need for bulky email file attachments. Files can be accessed from a Windows®, Mac or Linux computer or via the Iomega® Link iOS application, available on your iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch.
With a total capacity of 2 terabytes and the opportunity to expand beyond this by connecting to an external USB HDD, the desktop network-attached file storage ix2 model supports RAID 1 with automatic RAID rebuild to safely back-up your files. Together with its integrated Serial ATA and a data transfer rate of 300 MBps, this innovative and efficient Iomega® StorCenter™ offers everything you could need and more for effective computer data storage. A 3 year warranty is included from the date of product registration.
