Good points:
Excellent picture quality, sharp and defined,no bleed over.Colours vibrant and natural looking.Dark chip 3 technology at great price. There wont be many projectors on the market for under 1k better than this.very quiet in normal eco operation.Very little evidence of the rainbow effect despite the excellent brightness.Very pleased i chose this projector.Have previously owned an optoma themescene and my last projector was an infocus in78 which was wonderful but this is full hd and better in almost all aspects(except the sleeker design)but really do looks matter over the quality of the picture,i think not.Buy this and you wont be dissapointed, just very happy.
Bad points:
No battery provided for the remote control-a very silly oversite i think.Lens cannot be shifted up and down, just your basic keystone, although to be fair its usually a function reserved for the more expensive projectors.Limited zoom so check your throw ratio before buying.Im watching from a distance of just over 3 metres and on full size i get a screen size of 87 inches.,on its minimum zoom its 82 inches.

Good points:
Excellent projector
Bad points:
Couldnt work out how to focus at first (quite simply twist the focus wheel!!!) and very confused how to flip image over as we mounted ours on the ceiling so image was upside down, was able to change it in the settings eventually.
Lovely now all set up and running.

Anthony, Poole Many purchases ....some good!!!

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
Easy to set up and reasonably quiet. Hi def (1080p) Blue Ray gives exceptional definition for a projector of this price. My only problem is that the "throw" is too short!! Great for those who have a smaller room. I would like to position the projector 8m from the screen but the picture would be too big. At 4m / 13ft from the screen on MIN zoom the picture is 1.8m or 72" diagonal. Standard TV pictures are better than expected, BBC HD signals are comparible with our Pansonic 42" plasma and I'm only using a sheet of MDF painted with matt emulsion for a screen.
Bad points:
Ideal for a smaller room. Unless I find another setting it would be difficult to set the projector behind the audience.
