Manufacturer's Description

The Humax HDR-1000S recorder will unlock a whole new world of online and satellite entertainment. Enjoy over 150 channels, many in stunning HD, as well as on-demand services like BBC iPlayer and ITV Player. The HDR-1000S also has a clever roll back TV guide, so tracking down those pesky missed programmes is as easy as checking what’s on next. It’ll also pause and rewind live TV, and even record two channels at the same time – no more timetable clashes!

Highlights:

Combining freesat HD, BBC iPlayer andITV Player (with 4oD and Demand5 to come) the Humax HDR-1000S delivers over 150 channels of viewing goodness. Complete with ean easy-to-use electronic programme guide, even setting reminders and browsing for missed programmes is a breeze.
The huge built-in 1TB hard drive allows you to record 250 hours of HD and 600 hours of SD content. Need to run to the kitchen? Just pause live TV, come back and carry on from where you left off. You can even rewind and relive cracking goals or dramatic moments with the push of a button.
Twin tuners make it possible to record two channels at the same time, or watch one while recording another. The roll back electronic programme guide even makes it easy to pull up those programmes that you forgot to record.
Built-in upscaling will bring your favourite standard definition channels up to date with near-HD quality.
The HDR-1000S has enough connectivity to join just about any AV setup. The HDMI port makes it a snap to connect to compatible sets and enjoy HD viewing, while the SCART output has older AV equipment covered. There are also two USB ports for media sharing and expansion.
Easy to set up. Just hook the DTR-T1000 up to your TV aerial and broadband connection via ethernet and go. There’s even an HDMI cable included so you’re ready to go straight out of the box.
