Score 9.0/10
Good points:
The HTC TyTN II is versatile and possesses a comprehensive range of facilites and capabilities. It works well as a telephone and text messager, and is good at operating the internet. I have used it in the Highlands of Scotland to transfer money etc, using telephone and satellite connection when wi fi wasn't available. I have also used it for position fixing in remote locations using Tom Tom and readily available freeware. The camera works well and has a wide range of functions which all work well. It allows digital zoom, which I didn't fully realise when reading literature pre-purchase. The keyboard is effective, as is the handwriting recognition software, once one gerts the hang of using them. The calendar and tasking software is excellent. Mobile Office works well. I am happy to use the device instead of a laptop for much of the time. The micro storage card is excellent and though I have a 2GB in at the moment, I am convinced it'll take 4 or 8 + if necessary. It took my fairly old O2 sim card without question and everything works. There is a comprehensive paper/book manual, which is good in a world where too many of these things are on the web. I'd advise people to read the manual thoroughly and work through the device. I know that can be a pain but it is worth the effort. That is particularly the case when setting up your sim card for internet access via wi fi, phone and satellite.
Bad points:
It is a bit chunky, which is a small price to pay for the keyboard and range of facitities available. The backlighting can be temperamental when switiching between phone and other systems. The camera takes a little while to focus, so one has to be aware of that, be patient, and and use a steady hand. It would be nice if mobile office could be extended. You can only read powerpoints, not edit or create them, but that is for Microsoft I suppose. HTC might wish to make representation to Microsoft re. that. The e-mail display can be a bit cumbersome, but I accept that there must be some price to pay for this level of portablity.

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
An extremely advanced piece of kit, the connectivity is amazing from GPS to Internet browsing, phone, email, and Internet sharing with a laptop.
And there is so much software out there to smarten up your device such as receiving live TV, media streaming (youtube etc.) radio broadcast receiving, Skype, MSN and Windows Live. You can also get software that encodes your DVD's (DVD to PocketPC) for playback on your device.
The internet browser is fantastic, sites like ebay, youtube and Google etc. are optimized for this device, meaning browsing to them is just as easy as on a PC.

The camera is great also, with loads of different modes to suit any situation, it even has panorama mode that stitches your images together.
This device is top rated and the elite in mobile communication and entertainment, with Windows Mobile 6 you still have all the other great features like diary, voice recording, tasks etc.

This HTC TYTNii is really everything you need in one.
Bad points:
The battery needs to be improved, this devices functions are fantastic but they eat the battery especally when connected to HSDPA.
