Good points:
Excellent interface, it's just so fluid and fast it's probably the best OS right now. Browsing the web is great. The WP7 browser is the only one right now out there that brings back a custom lookup list to select if you say you have a list of dates. Never seen this is any other mobile browser. Syncs emails perfectly with live.com and all major email accounts like yahoo google. Brings and syncs contacts, pictures etc from your live account. There are things I would like to see improved but this is an excellent mobile. Just copy all your music collection (you need to download zune but no need for account) and off you go. Xbox if you are into gaming is also very good. Plus Zune for music and Office.
Bad points:
Battery maybe, but has been fine for me. I would like more integration with the PC rather than the cloud. Hopefully next update in 2011. I can't really complain, never freezes or crashed on me.

Score 8.0/10
Good points:
I love the look and feel of the device and access to most things is intuitive. The more I use it the better I like it.
Bad points:
My biggest bugbear is the positioning and sensitivity of the 'back', 'Start' and 'internet search'. Holding and manipulating the device is made very difficult because the natural position of the fingers makes accidental contact with these very difficult to avoid. I also find that natural movement of the hand when navigating the touch screen often brings up 'Bing' unwontedly. It is this which brings down the scores for both Ease of Use and Design.

I do find that the battery life is very poor but this may be how I am using it. Hopefully I will find how to use it more efficiently so that it doesn't eat battery so fast.

Score 1.0/10
Good points:
Lovely looking phone, love the way everything wizzes up and down the screen (being entirely new to touch screen, having just upgraded from an old blackberry).
Bad points:
Internal speaker went on day 2 - hadn't even had the chance to change the ring tone

Annoying bing search button and start buttons at the bottom of the handset are so sensitive you accidentally touch them and go elsewhere. You need to lock your phone when making calls ideally as this disables the screen - otherwise you end up beeping your way through calls etc.

Bing search button SOOOO annoying full stop.

No ability to change font sizes etc that I found. Letters super big etc - this isn't a Doro! Would have liked the opportunity to make the writing smaller if I wanted.

Actually prefer the blackberry for being able to change the display screen/how you view things.

Going back. Trying the Samsung Omnia instead. HTC too annoying to have for 2 years. Am very disappointed.

Good points:
Excellent design, decent camera and I LOVE the fact I can try the games before I buy them. The games available are excellent with regards to gameplay and graphics. Feels sturdy and of high build quality. Interface is very reactive, quick and smooth. Speaker is loud and clear (for a mobile) the screen is very clear and has vivid colours and good contrast. although in its infancy the marketplace has some very good applications ready for download. Especially the free ones from Microsoft themselves!
Bad points:
No MSN messenger available (not an official Microsoft app at least), touch buttons across the bottom are easily pressed when doing things in landscape mode, recommend a screen protector. Other than that there are normal things for a first release of a new operating system (slow app loading and resuming, no multi tasking for third party apps and minor performance issues) but I have faith that Microsoft will be releasing updates! I've not been getting very good network signal in comparison to my old Nokia 5800. Battery life can be bad if you want to have 3G turned on constantly but I've found that if I turn 3G off when I'm not going to use it then I get a day and a half from a full charge.
