Good points:
Bought as home ESXi v4 server. Does the job perfectly, and is nice and quiet even when under decent load (which is good as it has to reside in my lounge).
Bad points:
Bought as home ESXi v4 server - the onboard RAID card isn't supported properly, and despite creating a mirrored RAID pack of two disks, the ESX still sees two disks (known issue, no workaround other than buying an additional RAID card).

Good points:
I bought this product to run ESXi on as I had heard big things about it's compatibility with ESXi. It didn't let me down. ESXi 4.0 installed out of the box and I had 3 VMs running in a few hours.
It only comes with a small HD and 2GB of memory but you can't complain based on the price and it's cheap to upgrade the memory to it's maximum of 8GB and hard drives are cheap to come by now so all in all, this is easily on of the best buys I have made in a long time!

Highly recomended.
Bad points:
None. I love this little work horse!

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
a 4 core opteron at £200 is good.. the machine operates well, does not work with Vista ok with XP and 7 2003/2008 of course, it is a quiet reliable machine built excellently, but operates a lot better with western digital drives.. no complaints overall .. excellent for graphics processing .. a very stable platform
Bad points:
drive installation is tedious unless you use the supplied boot disc prior to O/S installation .. if you are to use 7 or XP the drivers are something of an issue and need careful installation .. particularly the Matrox Drivers which must be installed after any additional graphics installation or you'll be without access to the machine if you use DVI .. but so what .. the machine is something of a Culinary Masterpiece ..
