Confirmed purchase: 10 Dec 2009

Leslie, Reading General home user

Score 10.0/10
Good points:
Lovely to look at, ergonomical keyboard, good screen size, VERY FAST, Windows 7 is wonderful, never slows down even with several applications open at once, huge memory. Most devices (eg my Blackberry) are compatible. Computer comes with a remote for watching DVDs. Reasonably light weight. I recommend this computer to others.
Bad points:
To start with my eyes got sore to start with due to the brightness of the screen (rectified with alteration to Display brightness). Windows 7 has one BIG negative: to send a link from a website you can't use Outlook - only Windows Live, Google mail, and one or two other web-based applications. This is very inconvenient - but not the fault of HP. Also my treasured portable scanner won't function with Windows 7 despite the driver available. Have tried to instal for months - still tryhing. Not the fault of HP.
