Good points:
The laptop is excellent, and the HP QuickWeb features are very useful for quick startup without having to open Windows
Bad points:
The glossy screen makes it very difficult to use outside as it acts like a mirror.

Score 8.0/10
Good points:
LED screen is good, 500gb hard drive
Bad points:
Annoying Nortons pop ups and snapfish trying to persuade you to use their services! For some the battery life might be a bit short, but I used mine for 2 hours with 2 USB hard drives attached and it still had 30% battery life, Its a bit heavy, but it is a 17" screen so what do you expect! Mouse pad takes a bit of getting used to but I use a mouse! But these negative points are petty with a lot more plus points than minuses

Was not able to review good points as machine arrived broken
Bad points:
Machine arrived broken. As a refurbished machine from Curries they do not (by policy) repair it, and as they had no others in stock I got my money back.

This was the second refurbished machine in a row that had to be returned. I will not be using this supplier again.

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
Wonderful performance for the money. The Radeon 5650 is good enough to play most new games to a reasonable standard.
Bad points:
Short battery life, but that's to be expected of a 17,3 inch screen laptop with such a performance-oriented configuration.
The laptop is also absolutely bloated with useless HP and Norton software, which is annoying, but fixable.

Score 2.0/10
Good points:
Nice keyboard and graphics
Bad points:
mostly the mouse pad is very bad, It stays stuck on occassions and I can't get work done. It jumps about the screen. Have to restart laptop to get it to work properly until it goes wrong again, I really hate it for that.
