Good points:
Superb netbook. Beats similar priced laptops I bought year or two ago on performance - my son says it plays Shogun 2 (campaign) nicely on it!!!
Bad points:
Shovelware needs cleaning off b4 you start. When will they ever learn to clear this garbage off new laptops? surely they can't make that much money from having it on there?

Good points:
Battery life is excellent for word processing. Weight is good for portability. Screen and keyboard both good.
Bad points:
Track pad is nicely designed but because of design the edges are indistinct and sensitivity seems to reduce as you get close to the edge, but you can't tell this by feel.

Fikayo, General home user

Score 7.0/10
Good points:
In actual use, it has a decent battery life of 3- 5hrs with constant use, including media player.

Lightweight, compact.

Charges to a 100% in a fairly short time.
Bad points:
Integrated youcam webcam not great! You have to reduce its exposure and/or disable zoom to get a decent video recording. Will upgrading to the latest software make a significant difference? Not sure.

Score 10.0/10
Good points:
Battery life is awesome. I'm a one man business and bought this as a lightweight, compact machine for travelling. It does everything I need and is half the weight of the standard laptop I have been lugging around for the last few years.

I looked at the Ultrabook option when buying this one and concluded that, although they are slim and cool looking, the price : performance ratio just isn't right. SSD's aren't yet cheap enough to give ample storage and typically come in at 128Gb which just isn't enough to get Windows 7 running properly, hold my company data, music collection and leave some harddrive spare to allow the thing to work. At less than half the price of the Ultrabook equivalent this one was an easy decision. The larger chassis means better connectivity too.

As a one man company I need to take a laptop on holiday with me to stay in touch with customers and listen to music. The price point of this one means I can do all this & more & wouldn't be too upset if it fell into the swimming pool !
Bad points:
I'm struggling but can only come up with the following.

The photos of this laptop on the website show a black plastic looking laptop which looks like one of the original Netbooks. When I got mine I was impressed by the tactile feel of the outer case, which has a rubbery feel to it and was impressed by the overall build quality. I suggest you take better photos and show the laptop at it's best.

That's probably an HP problem though as these look like stock images.
