Bad points:
I bought this laptop purely because it had 4GB or RAM, and I was really looking forward to using a laptop without feeling the need to throw it out of the window in frustration, as I was feeling with my previous laptop that had 1GB of RAM. This is every bit as slow as my old laptop. It is completely unusuable, usually taking 5-10 seconds to respond to very simple commands, such as scrolling and switching between tabs, and every 30 minutes seems to freeze altogether. A real waste of money.

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
Handles everything I've thrown at it, namely watching high def movies, browsing the net, using Office '10 and Windows 64-bit (installed seperately as it came with 32-bit - thus not fully utilisign the 4GB RAM). The keyboard is amazing to use, feels solid and concise. The screen is bright, sharp and the colours are lovely. As usual, HP build quality is v good. It feels like a solid portable. Audio is also realy nice, paired with some high end speakers, it sounds divine. Even the built in soud bar is suprisingly good, I've watched several movies using the built in speakers! Best three british centuries I've spent in a while :) I manage to squeeze around 7-8 hours with my normal use (couple hours on you tube, spreadsheet stuff, word and browsing net...). Great little machine. Almost forgot, the air vents are on the side and not underneath which I really like as you don't block air flow putting it on your lap. Connectivity is also great with a HDMI and plenty USBs (makes the lack of a CD drive unoticable - although I DO have an external drive which I used to re-install Windows).
Bad points:
Smudges easily on lid and screen sedges, matte screen would have been more suitable (however it is very bright and pretty good in outdoor use). Comes installed with 64 bit windows, even though it performs better with 64 bit (with 4GB RAM) according to the Windows performance checker. Get's warm under normal usage and is audable under any load.
