Good points:
Bluetooth is a handy bonus for transferring files from a phone.
Integrated webcam with light works well, even in the dark.
WiFi works well and does not drop connection.
Plenty of USB ports and the VGA out is very useful.
Great screen with glossy look, shows images well even in sunlight with it's anti-glare feature.
Good sleek design with nice neon effect indicator lights on front.
Keyboard is nice to use with a good response from the keys, touchpad also accurate.
The battery life is impressive, although not in my opinion anywhere near the advertised 7 hours.
Bad points:
Bundled version of Windows 7 Starter has been stripped alot of it's customisation - to the point where it's not even possible to change the wallpaper. Not the fault of HP but annoying none the less, the only way round this (and what Microsoft want) is to pay for a Windows Anytime Upgrade, which the operating system consantly prompts you to do!
Battery life not as advertised in my experience, but still good none the less. The shipped battery is thicker than the machine and sticks out the bottom, raising the rear of the netbook on a dilt similar to a keyboard, so you can't lay the netbook flat.
HP ship their machines with alot of their own unneccessary software, which has an annoying habit of popping up and prompting you to perform a 'health check' or system scan when you're in the middle of doing something. This seems to affect the performance of the system and I have found it best uninstalled.
Machine is great for internet use and web browsing but scores low on the windows performance scale and does struggle when running multiple apps.

Good points:
Bought this HP mini for my daughter, she absolutely loves it. I am quite jealous as it is so pretty! The quality is brilliant, no cheap plastic keys on the keyboard, sturdy metal (and pink) keys. It's easy to use and had more built into it than my full laptop that I have. The built in webcam is great fun for taking pics and vids. There is also built in bluetooth so sycronising phone is a doddle. Plus with Windows 7...much better than Vista which I have which I have constant problems with. Overall an excellent mini laptop, would recommend to anybody and everybody.
Bad points:
The only thing I didn't like was the size of the battery...but it hasn't bothered me really!

Excellent all round, just a couple of minor points see below
Bad points:
Windows 7 starter edition every limited, can't even change the screen background.
Large battery pack means that netbook does not lay flat on a surface but is at an angle, but battery life is excellent

Good points:
Excellent design, made with the quality you would expect from HP
Bad points:
Battery adds a lot of weight, but is essential to give the battery life you get. for the price would have prefered windows 7 home rather than basic.
