Good points:
Battery life is good
Bad points:
The product is not good at all. Screen goes out frequently. Media RAM is not working properly. I had to get it repaired 6 times in two years and I am going to throw it in bin now. HP should be ashamed of bringing this kind of product in market as their printers are best and state of the art. They should stick to printers and leave from laptop market.

Good points:
Fast, efficient and affordable. Perfect if you don't want anything fancy and are expecting to use the laptop for general home use. I've seen people complaining about the positioning of the calculator and printer buttons on the keyboard but I've found they come in quite handy. Besides, every new keyboard takes some getting used to! I also find the music buttons at the top of the keyboard very handy.
Bad points:
Nothing of any real consequence - the buttons beneath the touchpad are very stiff, which is a bit of an annoyance, but beyond that I have no complaints.

Score 6.0/10
Good points:
The graphics are quite good and some of the softwares that come with 'Windows 7' like 'Windows Live Mail'. (This laptop comes with already installed Windows 7.

Making your own themes for the laptop like backgrounds and screensavers.

Sound is ok. Easy-to-type (once you get used to it!)

HD capabilities are quite good
Bad points:
yeah this is gonna be a long list! :-

1.Can only open the lid with BOTH hands
2.The mousepad is pathetic
3.Shortcut buttons are annoying because keep accidentally pressing them whilst using in the dark
4.You can't use this laptop in darkly lit rooms! (can't see the keyboard could do with a light)
5.The design is really ugly
6.Heats up too fast even when on flat surfaces
7.Before i transferred my data it was fast but now that i have my pics from digital camera and music etc it takes ages to load up when starting
8.If you're using 'HP recommended' settings then the battery life is rubbish so i have to use the 'Power save' mode which makes the screens a little bit darker
9.Too noisy when you insert a CD in the drive

Quite frankly i think this laptop should have been abit cheaper - well everything seems to get more expensive these days. Nevertheless i usually just skype for 2hours or so and mild internet usage but if its going to be used for gaming then this is not the laptop for you it will get hammered.

After a week or 2 you should get used to the features and layout etc.
