Score 10.0/10
Good points:
Sleek design, very fast at switching on/off, good storage with the 500gb hard drive, sharp/colourful screen, very fast i3 processor with 3gb RAM means it handles multiple applications with ease.
good battery life with options to extend it, good selection of software, reasonably light in weight, handles video well, haven't used for any demanding games (i've got a console for that). highly recommend this, top brand, good specs, excellent price, ticks all the boxes. what more do you want.
Bad points:
took me nearly 90 mins to create backup/restore discs

Score 8.0/10
Good points:
Solidly build and good specifications.
Good workhouse but let down by niggingly keyboard. see below.
Bad points:
The keyboard design with the additional left column of email, web brower, printer & calculator quick keys are a waste of time. As it departs from the standard qwerty keyboard, I am constantly hitting the calculator and printer keys instead of the control and shift keys. Bloodly annoying.
The mouse pad is also frustrating as it's not as responsive and well designed as my past laptops. Tried tweaking it without success.
Will not buy similar type keyboards again.
