Score 5.0/10
Good points:
Overall appearance, size and weight.
Bad points:
The model sold to be was as a reconditioned item. I found I didn't like typing on it because of the dead flat keyboard (without concave key tops0, where the little fingers never found the right keys. As a recon, it also had a faulty hard drive which would've died far too early for the age of the machine.

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
Does exactly what ot says on the tin. Great value for money compared to what some people have paid for equivalent laptops. Jack of all trades
Bad points:
Battery life is very poor when you play a game or DVD so you'll need to have it plugged in most likely, but when just writing or browsing it's more than adequate, but the battery life is no worse than other laptops for more money.

Good points:
Fast, does what it says on the tin
Bad points:
Overall design very poor.
Screen shape doesn't match up to most website designs. A better depth is needed so it doesn't chop off half the page you're looking at.
The touch pad mouse is too big so when you're scrolling your hand has a tendency to creep on to the edge and counter what your finger is doing. I hate it so much I've reinstated my external mouse.
The switch on button is a narrow mettal band imbedded into the computer so far, you need to get your nails into the gap to use it.
The CD/DVD tray button is so poorly designed you need to click it two of three times before the tray will open. Annoying!
Not enough USB points.
Otherwise okay.

Irfan, Croydon Business user

Score 4.0/10
Good points:
this seems to be an OK laptop, at a very reasonable price. actually the way I have used it to date does not give me a reasonable feel for its performance, battery life and so forth, but I expect these to be sufficient for my needs.
Bad points:
the screen is a BIG problem, and I am very unhappy with it. I either get too much glare, or a dim image. what I want is a clear image with good contrast and no glare. I can't get that and it is very annoying.
