Good points:
Starts up quickly
HP chat support are easy to contact and helpful
I like the exterior and the textured touch-pad
Ummmm
Bad points:
Slow!
I've had loads of problems with this laptop from the beginning...
Slow video/sound playback
Slow Internet
Slow PC in general
Loads of programs that keep giving pop-ups on the PC and probably slow the whole thing down
Windows 8 was a bit of a pain (so I contacted HP and they sent me some CDs to downgrade to Windows 7 saying it might sort out my issues - the downgrade doesn't affect the warranty on the product as the downgrade is from HP themselves)
Problem with the battery, had to look online for how to resolve it
Problem with proxy server (even though I wasn't even aware I had one!) - again, had to look online for help (and this problem happened again even after I sorted it out)
Keep getting a message saying 'High CPU Usage by (program)' even if I'm just browsing the Internet!
More problems than I care to remember!

The laptop has just been a pain since I bought it - sorry HP, it's the truth!!!!!
