The ceramic radiant hob has 4 rings which provide levels of heat ranging between 1200 and 1700W. This allows you to fry and boil various foods in several pots and pans at once. Ventilation slots at the back of the hob help regulate the temperature and four lights at the front shine to indicate when the corresponding zone is still warm as an additional safety measure.
The upper cavity of the unit is a grill measuring 28 litres, which comes with a specially designed pan plus a removable metal rack and handle. The top section makes multitasking a breeze and is ideal for cooking complex meals where several courses need to be prepared at once. You can either use the grill for cooking or as somewhere to keep other items warm until the rest of the food is ready to serve.
The 54 litre capacity of the main cavity is spacious enough to fit several items on the various metal shelves, including a large roast for Sunday dinner. The electric fan feature offers rapid cooking times by evenly distributing heat around the oven, whereas the ‘S’ setting is designed for slow cooking. This is preferable for certain dishes, means less cleaning is required and is more energy efficient. The thermostat indicator lights up when this cavity is heating up and goes off once it reaches the desired temperature. The oven door is transparent which lets you view your food as it’s cooking, so you don’t need to let any heat out to check if something’s ready.
