Ammber,

Score 7.0/10
Good points:
My step-daugther loved it (she's 7), the colours, and the ease of making a cake- you cook the mix in a microwave fore 1 minute!
Bad points:
From an adults persective, the mixes they provide will only make 5 cakes. in total! Each cupcake packet only makes one cake- which seems pretty poor value for money
the main body of the kit is to put the icing on top of the cake.... and the cake looks pretty weird when it comes out of the microwave too

Confirmed purchaser Mother of 2 girls

Score 7.0/10
Good points:
My 5 year old daughter enjoys playing with it as she love role-play. She also use individual parts, like the bowl to pretend to make other foods.
Bad points:
You only get about five packets of cup cake mixtures, which means you will have to order more. You need one packet to make one cup cake. I tried one of the cup cakes and it tasted vile. I would not like to imagine what e numbers are in them. After sampling one, I decided to hide the rest of the mixtures. My daughter can pretend to make them instead. Cleaning the cake maker was tricky as it does not come apart, so you have to put the whole unit into the sink. An adult needs to help with the making process as the cake needs to to be put in a microwave.

Bad points:
When you take off the cup, if any mixture had been spilt it was hard to clean but not a real problem

Score 3.0/10
Good points:
Easy assembly. Clear instructions on how to use and recipe cards. My child initially enjoyed playing with it.
Bad points:
Flimsy construction. Over priced for amount of product received. Does not keep child interested for long, have only used it twice since bought. Extra cake mix needed has to be bought as only mixes for 4 cupcakes included, this is also over priced. Icing part of the cake maker is not very effctive and does not come out as it should do on the cup cakes.
