Score 7.0/10
Good points:
Always used Gigabyte for my builds.
The Dolby surround is awesome,
Esata is handy along with Usb 3 and decent power outputs on the ports.
Bad points:
My previous Ud5 board was a 790fx and it had push buttons for start, reset, and clr cmos. This has been stripped of that and left for the UD7 product.

4 fan headers and only a couple of them are PMW. This was a bit of a disappointment as I only have a basic push/pull configuration on a H50 watercooling kit so thats 3 fan ports used already. I have two front fans so one of them is now connected via molex on full power. Not much to ask seeing as other high end boards have 8 pmw ports and my old ud5 790fx board had more as well :(

currently on Bios FB with hardware revision 3.0 and it would not boot from my usb device to install windows which I know works fine on other computers. had to install via cd which takes a lot longer zzzz.

Overal the main let downs are the removed features that were on the previous ud5 board I had. The quality of the board is still there but its been a pain to have to clr cmos with a screwdriver, install windows with a cd :( and run system fans on molex's. all of these features plus a few other things that should have remained.

Will,

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
Very well equipped board; well laid out and everything's easy to access. Good number of PCIE slots and the PCI slot is good for the odd older card (e.g. wifi).
Bad points:
... errr... although the CPU heatsink can be installed by one person, four hands are better than two if you're getting a large aftermarket heatsink contraption.
