Score 8.0/10
Good points:
Good sized screen. Touch screen works well. Nice graphics. Just drove through France with it and found it excellent.
Bad points:
Too easy to press on/off button whilst placing in cradle. Tried to update maps 2 weeks ago and the new Hindhead tunnel on A3 wasn't on there yet. Might get bored of the two English speaking voice options soon! Can take quite a while before 'traffic' info shows up - 5-10 mins into my journey in the mornings.

Bad points:
went to germany put route in with waypoints, kept wanting to take me off motorways even though I had it set to fastest route and I don't believe it has any concept of german motorway exits and entrances also after taking me of a motorway on b roads it then decided to reboot and lose the trip, I know this because when I uploaded the track data to see where it went wrong the bit where it took me off route was missing and on way back drove me straight into a traffic jam on the motorway at ostend I know this because my honda in built sat nav saved the day(no speed cameras on honda sat nav, why using garmin)bought this garmin because i had a garmin quest for years which was great, went to tomtom better but batteries kept breaking so went fo this, I would not trust this to get me to my local shops, just wish i could get my money back on it

Good points:
Nice big and bright screen even in full sunlight.
Ease of use
Bad points:
Need to download manual from the internet
No AC adapter included (optional available)
Even the latest maps seems to have alot of mini roundabouts missing, so you will not get a audio warning of one approaching.

Satellite Navigation Buyers Guide

Manufacturer's Description

Simple to use, the compact nüvi 2350T sat nav packs high-end navigation features into an entry-level sat nav. It comes with Lane Assist with PhotoReal™ Junction View, premium lifetime traffic avoidance, speaks street names and has preloaded maps for Europe (44 countries). myTrends™ learns and predicts your favourite routes based on time of day and your location and ecoRoute™ helps calculate the most fuel-efficient route to your destination.

Experience nüRoute™ Technology with myTrends

With myTrends advanced routing capabilities, nüvi 2350T learns your driving habits and recognises your favourite destinations to predict where you’re going. This saves you time manually activating a route on repeat journeys and refines your route-planning based on previous trips. So whether you’re driving to and from work or to a regular weekly event, your nüvi 2350T sat nav will help you get there on time.

A Helping Hand on Unfamiliar Roads

nüvi 2350T’s PhotoReal™ junction view provides a realistic reproduction of road signs and junctions along your route, with stunning landscape detail for exceptional clarity down to the exact trees and pylons! With Lane Assist, there’s no more guessing which lane you need to be in at upcoming exits and junctions, with arrows that indicate the proper lane for navigation. So there’s no need to panic, hesitate or make last-minute lane changes, even on unfamiliar routes.

Premium Lifetime Traffic Updates

Steer clear of traffic with nüvi 2350T’s integrated FM traffic receiver and included premium lifetime² traffic updates and travel confident in the knowledge Garmin will handle any traffic problems on your route ahead. Subscription-free for the lifetime of the sat nav, you will receive alerts about traffic delays and roadworks on your route. Next, simply touch the screen on the sat nav to view traffic details or detour around the problem area.

Unique Speed Cameras

Garmin’s unique Cyclops™ speed cameras are built in, giving real-time, reliable and accurate alerts, overspeed warning and speed limit information as you approach one of hundreds of fixed, mobile, variable limit and temporary safety cameras. New or moved cameras are constantly tracked and the central database is updated by Cyclops daily. nüvi 2350T also contains speed limits for all major routes plus Garmin’s new speed limit reporting, which enables you to manually correct / update speed limit information and share any changes via USB.

Find Fuel-efficient Routes

nüvi 2350T saves you fuel and money with ecoRoute – Garmin’s innovative green feature that calculates the most fuel-efficient route, tracks fuel usage and more. You can choose to take the “less fuel” option as a routing preference and when selected, nüvi will determine if a more fuel efficient route exists based upon road speed data and vehicle acceleration data. ecoRoute helps you develop more efficient driving habits, calculates trip cost and enables accurate expense reporting too.

Complete Door-to-Door Navigation

With its pedestrian navigation capabilities and sleek and compact design, nüvi 2350T is the perfect travel companion in and out of the car. Download optional cityXplorercontent and navigate new cities like a local. Garmin’s enhanced pedestrian mode gives you directions for walking including footpaths and shortcuts through parks – places you wouldn’t be accessing while in your car. It also tells you where to catch trains, buses and tubes (dependent on the city) and how long it will take to reach your destination. cityXplorer even contains public transport timetables to ensure you arrive at the station on time and help avoid long waits (dependent on the city).

Get Turn-by-Turn Directions

nüvi 2350T has an intuitive interface that greets you with two simple questions: “Where To?” and “View Map.” Touch the colour screen to easily look up addresses and services and get voice-prompted, turn-by-turn directions with spoken street names for extra route awareness with no need to look at the sat nav screen. Garmin’s new Trip Planner feature provides a multi-route preview so you can visually compare the available routes before selecting your preferred journey.

It comes preloaded with City Navigator® NT street maps for Europe (44 countries), preloaded points of interest (POIs) and speed limits for most major roads. Its digital elevation maps show you shaded contours at higher zoom levels, giving you a big picture of the surrounding terrain. With 2350T’s enhanced user interface, you can slide your finger to conveniently scroll between screens. You also can upload custom points of interest (POIs). And with HotFix® satellite prediction, nüvi calculates your position faster to get you there quicker.

Where am I?

The Where am I? emergency locator is a safety feature that can be very helpful if you break down or need a local service urgently. Simply tap the car icon on the map screen to get your exact coordinates, address and junction, contact details for vehicle recovery services and directions to your nearest hospitals, police and petrol stations.

Go Beyond Navigation

Navigation is just the beginning. nüvi 2350T features many travel tools, including JPEG picture viewer, world travel clock with time zones, currency converter, measurement converter, calculator and more. With photo navigation, you can download location-tagged pictures from Garmin Connect™ Photos and navigate straight to the scene – ideal for getting to places which don’t have addresses and landmarks or recreating a memorable holiday or road trip. Download custom voices and vehicles absolutely free from our Garmin Extras collection and enhance your travel experience with optional plug-in microSD™ cards for interactive tour guides and details of and directions to reviewed and rated destinations.
