Nice looking camera, takes very good pictures in all conditions. Battery life is also good.

Always remove the lense cover before switching the camera on! Otherwise it is a very difficult, fiddly job to take the cover off.

Score 10.0/10
Good points:
It took me ages to decide on wether to get a small compact digital camera which I always have or try a bridge camera. I'm so glad that I decided on the bridge camera as the zoom is amazing, the picture quality is very clear, its incredibly easy to use and also considering it's bigger than a compact camera its also much easier to handle, I would definitely recommend this camera!
Bad points:
The only bad thing about the camera is it doesn't show a battery power gage until the battery have almost run out, vut as long as you have a spare set of batteries that isn't much of an issue. Plus, my batteries that came with the camera lasted me ages, about 3 days (450 pictures)

Manufacturer's Description

The Fujifilm FinePix S6800 Bridge Camera offers a powerful zoom, Full HD movie capture, intuitive control and a compact form – an excellent choice for those who love taking photos!

Picture perfect

At the centre of the S6800’s body is a highly-sensitive CMOS image sensor with primary colour filter. A high 16 megapixel resolution combined with the CMOS sensor produces images bursting with detail and clarity. Each image is captured with low-noise and natural colour tones, ensuring the greens, blues and reds are true to life.

Enjoy a highly responsive shooting experience thanks to the rapid autofocus and continuous shooting mode. You are able to shoot 10fps at full image resolution or up to 60fps at a lower resolution – you’ll never miss a fast-moving subject again!

Super zoom

Get right up close to the action with a 30x optical zoom range, the 24-720mm lens offers a wide-range of focal lengths so you can enjoy maximum versatility with your photography.

The premium FUJINON lens gets even closer with the 2cm Macro mode, capturing the subject close up with remarkable background blur and high levels of image quality.

Armed with an Optical (shift-type) image stabilisation system, the FinePix S6800 eradicates the camera shake so each image is crisp and fully focused, even at a high ISO of 12800 – this piece of equipment is a sure-fire way to achieve beautiful photographs.

Movie moments

Capture moments as a movie clip, it’s just as easy as snapping a photo. A dedicated movie button gives you instant access to shooting Full HD movies at 60fps with crystal clear sound. You can even adjust the shooting frame rate to 480fps at a lower resolution and capture with super slow motion.

The multi talented bridge camera can also snap still images during movie capture, great for spontaneous moments. What’s more, the advanced in-camera movie-editing features enable you to trim, bind or cut out footage.

Advanced photography

A high quality 3” LCD screen makes it easy to compose and review images, playback your moments in exceptional detail and effortlessly navigate around the cameras settings.

A Motion Panorama feature is a great way of shooting awe-inspiring landscapes, sweep the camera across your surroundings and remember the moment in one long horizontal or vertical image.
