Good points:
Great images, great image stabilisation.

Fantastic zoom and macro options.
Bad points:
Only bad point I've discovered, is the tripod mount point.

1: It's somewhat flimsy.

2: I can't open the battery door to change batteries without having to remove the quick release plate.

Good points:
Easy to use, I worked out most of it without the manual. Feels sturdy and well built. Good battery life. Some good fun new features.
Bad points:
Missing one or two of the features I had on the hs10, but it has a few new ones to compensate.

Good points:
Very good camera if you want to progress from a point and shoot.
Bad points:
The manual is too basic. I bought this as my first bridge camera so I am no expert on what does what and how. Need more in depth explanations on functions, modes etc.

FERNANDO, BILBAO Experienced amateur

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
It's the closest camera to an actual DSLR without being DSLR. The overall feeling is like having a DSLR in your handas.
Incredible zoom + very effective Image Stabilizer
Very quick focus + very quick starting time
Bad points:
It is NOT a DSLR, though it can really look like one. This is clear when you use manual modes.
The range of the aperture is limited, there is not a BULB position speed and the manual focus ring lacks the feeling of an actual fous ring.
Rather big and heavy (though I personally like its DSLR aspect)
