Good points:
Looks Fantastic. The warm glow of the valves is simply stunning.
Seems capable of powering large speakers with ease. I am using a pair of Celestion Ditton 22's.
They really know the kind of customer who would buy this. It comes with a white glove and a dusting brush to keep the polished chrome clean.
This product is certainly good value for money.

Score 8.0/10
Good points:
This very smart, retro-designed amplifier takes what is good and bad about the old and modern to provide an attractive product. Initially put off by the iPod dock (I don't own an iPod) I was pleased to find that it was available (at a lower price) without this. I like it's simplicity (two inputs; no tone controls) and the sound quality is excellent with a range of speaker types. It would grace any living space and is pretty enough to be a major feature of room decor and affordable to be part of a second system.
Bad points:
Nothing I can think of. I wasn't sure about the integral sound meter in the main valve (or 'tube' if you prefer) at first but have actually found this quite useful.

Score 4.0/10
Good points:
with an ipod or computer source the fatman produces a surprisingly good sound from a neat package in a small room
Bad points:
its really just not that powerful so theres not lots of bass- with speakers I've use other amplifiers with.
It will not fill a room with loud music and its strength is not rock but female vocals. I bought this on a promotion so it was small and quite cheap. Depending on the price you may well find a variety of regular size amplifier give a fuller and more powerful sound
