Conventional vacuum cleaners rely on bags to trap dust and dirt. But when you start to use some bagged machines, dust can clog the tiny holes in the bag. Some ordinary bagless vacuum cleaners work in a similar way. They use a central filter to trap fine dust, which can clog too. Suction drops, leaving dust and dirt behind in your home.

In Radial Root Cyclone? technology remodelled airflows maximise suction power. Improved flow efficiency reduces turbulence and preserves air pressure, so more microscopic particles are extracted by the inner cyclones. These refinements help remove more dust, allergens and pet hair from the home.
Strongest suction at the cleaner head
The cleaner head self- adjusts to maintain optimal contact with all floor types. It lowers on hard floors to remove more dust and pet hair from crevices and corners. On carpets, the base plate raises or lowers automatically, allowing the brush bar to remove pet hair and particles caught in the carpet fibre. It’s designed for outstanding performance across all floors – not just carpets, but the whole of your house. Ball technology for upright vacuums Dyson Ball uprights ride on a ball, which pivots on the spot so you can steer with a turn of the wrist. The ball also houses core technology, including the motor and ducting. There’s less clutter, so it’s easier to clean into awkward places, along edges and around furniture.
Lightweight and durable DC41 machines are made from modified blends of materials selected for strength, flexibility and tolerance. Many parts are made from polypropylene reinforced with 20% glass fibres and high-impact PC-ABS. Using these materials means greater strength from less plastic – so the machine is lightweight.
Mini turbine head The Dyson Mini turbine head has an air-driven brush bar that removes pet hair and dirt from tight spaces like upholstery, stairs and inside the car. Tiny bristles catch fine hair and fibres. A clean air turbine reduces bulk and weight and prevents obstructions. The cover is made from tough ABS polycarbonate.
