Stuart, Woodley Versatile Clear Easy Quality

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
This is the lens that you'll typically find on my camera (Alpha A65). It's by far my favourite and by far the most versatile. I've got a number of other lens, which have specific jobs (macro, landscape, et cetera) but if I don't want to take the full kit-bag with me, then this lens will be my 'go to' option. Image quality is great, even with the lens extended.
Bad points:
My only slightly criticism is that I'd like to be able to use the 'lock' at multiple points as the lens extends.

GP, Swindon

Score 8.0/10
Good points:
Supports the DMF/AF-MF push button on A77 and above bodies.
Excellent zoom range.
Proper focus ring, rather than the turning the end of the lens end on cheaper models.
Bad points:
Noisier than an SSM based lens, but no surprise.
No macro function, but min focal distance is not too bad.
