Score 10.0/10
Good points:
One motor with interchangeable bases saves on expense
Bad points:
Case ok, would have been better in a box same as the DW625EK model and not a blown molded softish case that this kit comes in.

Score 9.0/10
Good points:
Changing bits is a dream, especially with the chuck locking mechanism. The height adjustment is quick and easy. Changing between trim and plunge is so quick and simple. The led lights are very effective at lighting the work surface.
Bad points:
It would be very handy when setting up / lining things up if it would be possible to turn on the led lights.

It is very hard to see what is going on through the trimmer's dust extractor. Just acceptable from one side, extremely poor from the other.

The guide on the laminate trimmer moves changing setting when being tightened and can require two hands to get the bolt to spin in the nut (as the one I received seems to have a round shaft on the tightening mechanism even though there is a square hole cut into the guide).

George, Arts & Crafts Cabinet

Score 8.0/10
Good points:
Good Multi function use, easy adjustment variable attachments come with this router, plunge base & fix base easily alternated both can be adjusted to required depths, variable soft start speed great asset, easy usage when one gets accustomed to the router, carrier box with easy storage, this little router is one of my many routers in my possession for Multi Purpse use.
Bad points:
As in most products Manufacturer lets themselves down, on this Multi Function Router is the Switch very fiddly to use gets some getting use too, accessories some could be of better Qaulity & better packaged, Multi lingual instruction books could be a lot more friendly User!

Bob,

Bad points:
The sawdust extraction cover attachment (for using the router single handed without the plunge base) blocks a clear vision of the cutter for intricate work, - the designers should cut a window at the base of this cover for a clearer view of the work area especially for craftsman who need to cut around corners, - the window will in no way let sawdust escape if there is sufficient vacuum draw, - I know, because I have done the above myself.
