This excellent Superfi sizzling hifi system consists of the Denon DM39 Micro System and the 5 star rated Monitor Audio Bronze BX2 bookshelf speakers. Terrific sound and a stylish design make this a fantastic value package.
The Monitor Audio Bronze BX2 are award winning bookshelf speakers which stand out in their class and offer looks and performance far beyond their price. They are equally at home handling both music and movies, in a stereo set-up or as an integral part of your home cinema. The clever design and front bass port of the BX2 allow easy positioning in your listening room, without the loss in performance you get with many speakers.
The compact size of the Monitor Audio BX2 belies their quality – they deliver a big sound comparable to much larger speakers. The BX-2 speakers are available in 4 stylish finishes and supplied with magnetic removable grills – although we suggest leaving the grills off so you can show the beautifully designed cones and impress everyone who sees them.
Lots of intelligent construction has gone into the MA B-X2 speakers. Both the 165mm bass/mid-range driver and the 25mm tweeter utilise cones made from C-CAM (Ceramic-Coated Aluminium/Magnesium), a material originally developed for jet engine components by the aerospace industry. This extremely rigid material ensures audible consistency and a cohesive soundstage, and eliminates distortion. The bass/mid-range driver has a single bolt-through design rather than being fixed to the front baffle. This stops it transmitting vibration and reduces sound colouration. The Monitor Audio ‘Hive II’ port technology allows for faster air dispersal and less turbulence.
All these features result in an incredibly detailed and dynamic musical expression. Fast, powerful bass; clean, clear mid-range; and sweet, refined treble are all features of the BX2. Check out the ‘Expert Reviews’ tab on this page to see what the experts say.
With stylish design, innovative features and great music performance the Monitor Audio Bronze BX2 are gorgeous bookshelf speakers which produce an awesome sound.
