Gerard, Derry trained sound recordist

Score 8.0/10
Good points:
Amazing sound for such a small unit, akin to substantial Denon seperates systems of the 1980's, yet fits snuggly on a shelf of my TV stand, allowing a easy link ups with the rest of your AV set up ...... and a tidier living room.
Bad points:
Grumbling about this little system would be bad form. If you want a better system, you will pay at least twice as much money for it. This is as good as it gets.

HiFi Buyers' Guide

Manufacturer's Description

The Denon D-M35DAB is the latest in a line of high-performance, ultra-compact micro hifi systems from Denon which deliver useful features and sound-quality far in excess of price and dimension.

The CD player will happily play home made MP3 and WMA format audio discs, as well as typical shop-bought CDs, the tuner features FM & AM reception and also the latest DAB technology to bring you a massive array of new and existing radio services, without hiss or noise. The built in 2 × 22 watt amplifier ensures that speakers from a range of manufacturers – including Denon’s own SCM73 design – will sing sweetly. And all this can be controlled to wake you up or send you to sleep from CD or radio, thanks to a choice of three timer modes.
