Good points:
Good speed, good memory and the screen is very reasonable for the price.
Bad points:
Windows Vista.
Make sure you are able to upgrade to W7 or downgrade to XP
This is my first experience with Vista and it is so bloated and slow, no wonder people complain.
I was also very suprised at the number of updates required on a new machine (3 restarts and 26 Windows Upgrades)
The machine was for my wife, I have a Mac :-)

Score 8.0/10
Good points:
Very fast, everything runs smoothly. Antivirus and program updates just run in the background without slowing down day to day operation
Bad points:
Very strange positioning of the button for the DVD drive, so that to close the drive you have to get your fingernail between the hinge and the fold down "door"

Good points:
Fast, reliable system that takes everything in its stride. Even handles AVCHD video editing with ease.
Bad points:
The keyboard is hard to see in the dark. A desk light makes the keys shine and hard to read.

Score 10.0/10
Good points:
This is a superb piece of kit with all of the mod cons and then some - it will last for ages given the upgradeability of it. It plays the top spec games without so much as of sweat breaking out whereas my old PC had a coronary at the mere prospect at playing such games.
